C2MP - Présentation

Chemistry - Mechanics - Materials - Physics

C2MP Doctoral School trains high-level scientific researchers in the fields of chemistry, mechanics and physics, and materials science and engineering.
In addition to a high level of excellence on a specific topic, PhD students from C2MP demonstrate a scientific, societal, entrepreneurial and human culture that prepares them to be avant-garde and responsible stakeholders of the future.
To this end, the School offers:
•    high-level scientific courses
•    a seminar
•    professionalisation modules

Composition of C2MP

The Doctoral School comprises all teacher-researchers, researchers and any individuals who can supervise a doctoral thesis , who are members of a recognised research unit or laboratory having undergone national assessment.

•    A person who can supervise or co-supervise a doctoral thesis may only be attached to one Doctoral School.
 
•    All PhD students whose Thesis Supervisor is a member of C2MP Doctoral School are enrolled in C2MP Doctoral School.
 
•    The research structures attached in whole or in part to C2MP Doctoral School represent a supervisory potential of 450 people, 230 of whom hold an Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR – Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches) . About  280 PhD students are enrolled  in the Doctoral School, which represents an annual enrolment  flow of about 70 to 80 new PhD students.
