IAEM - Comité de suivi

Individual monitoring committee (specificities of the functioning within the ED IAEM Lorraine)

The composition of the monitoring committee must be entered by the doctoral student on his ADUM profile no later than six months after his first registration.

The general provisions of the Université de Lorraine specify that the composition of the monitoring committee must be approved by the Director of the PhD candidate's Registration Research Unit. In view of the internal organisation of the ED IAEM Lorraine and the existence of disciplinary mention commissions, the composition of the committee will be validated by the heads of mention commissions in replacement of the Director of the Research Unit.

In order to facilitate the procedures, the ED IAEM Lorraine has opted for the dematerialisation of the operations inherent to the individual monitoring committee. The procedure is as follows:

  1.  Declare the committee members on ADUM in the appropriate tab
  2.  Complete the information sheet of the individual training monitoring committee (automatically generated and downloadable in the "administrative documents" area) and have it signed by the thesis director and then by one of the heads of the mention committee concerned (see the welcome page, section "Doctoral School Board")
  3.  Submit the signed information sheet of the monitoring committee in the "Thesis follow-up members" section
  4.  Holding of the monitoring committee meeting (see the document "Instructions to the monitoring committee" downloadable on this page)
  5.  At the end of the meeting with the committee, the doctoral student submits the signed report in the "Thesis follow-up members" section on his ADUM profile.
Please note that in order to be able to re-register before September 30 (date imposed by the university's services), you must have submitted the monitoring committee report on ADUM no later than July 14th (decision of the ED Council voted at its meeting of December 15, 2020).
